About Be Mused
Be Mused Productions specializes in historical and educational entertainment for audiences of all ages.  Be Mused is proud to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the Children’s Theatre Company in White Plains NY and announce the BRAND NEW branch in Dutchess County, offering musical theatre workshops for children, preschool through teen.  In addition, Be Mused provides a unique theatrical experience for families, where parents can perform right along side their child in Westchester's ONLY "Family Musical".  These musical theatre workshops, offered in a nurturing environment,  are performance oriented however, they do not require any previous experience or skill level.  All children learn musical theatre craft and skills such as stage deportment, memorization, projection, and excellent diction.  Children work in a traditional musical theatre setting learning lines, developing characters, comprehending blocking/staging, practicing choreography/dance steps, and learning music and exercising healthy vocal technique.   All workshops culminate in a live stage performance complete with costumes, props and scenery.   In addition to these standards of musical theatre education, the workshops  provide opportunities for building self confidence, personal growth, problem solving, team work and family values.
Catering to adult audiences, Be Mused Productions offers a series of entertainment packages including Live Concerts, The Musical Memories Programs and The Mini-Musical Series for senior residences, libraries, museums, and social organizations in NY, NJ, CT and Florida.   Audiences enjoy superb, live entertainment, as well as,  support in life enrichment, socialization and memory enhancement.
